We’re positive

After getting a Covid test we were surprised to find that we were positive. Our symptoms weren’t very bad so I guess the vaccine did it’s job. We’re both feeling fine but still taking precautions for other peoples sake. We have to quarantine until 29th Dec. So I guess that gets us out of any Christmas obligations.

Omar said he would get supplies for us but he and his friend Pepe the mechanico were drinking beer with us the other day so lets hope they don’t get it.

It’s surprising how many people you come in contact with over a few days. We’re trying to track them down and let them know.

More in the next blog although it’s going to be a boring week.

  1. Well that sucks. Glad you are feeling relatively good even though you tested positive. Thank goodness for the Covid shots doing their job.

  2. Barb, mi esposa, tells me that Charity’s husband also tested positive…Barb & I are OK to this point, no symptoms. On the other hand, could we be positive but no symptoms? Should we get tested just to get tested? I don’t think so, and mi esposa doesn’t think so either. So there….
    Maybe it was the old man at St. Ignatius Loyola Church that was the cause, if not him….who?

    1. Because we are double vaccinated, we are suffering a mild bout on that dreaded lurgy! Doing fine. We can quarantine here, no problem, & we will be good to get you guys at ZLO on January 1st. Merry Christmas you Two.

  6. I am so sorry to hear the positive results…bummer. Are you now staying home for till Dec 29th. Did you get this while on your tour… We are waiting to see if we will be allowed to travel on the 31st. I hope Westjet does not start cancelling flts. We are ok to stay longer in Mexico but wonder about getting home.

    1. Quarantining ourselves until December 29th, so we should be all good to pick you guys up at ZLO on December 31st.
      Feeling just fine now, only occasional cough by me. Chris is less tired so that’s good.
      No other actual covid symptoms as listed on the form, to enter México.
